Pastor Emy Vazquez is the founder and lead pastor of ExcelChurch in Leominster, MA. He dreamed of planting a church with a simple goal – helping people connect with God so that they might reach their full potential. With the help of the Dream Team, 60 people committed to seeing this dream become a reality, ExcelChurch began on February 2, 2014. That Sunday 377 people attended and 30 people gave their lives to Jesus at our first Sunday experience.

From the beginning, ExcelChurch has focused on reaching out to the non-churched community by building relationships through small groups. The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday service and the simple style of ExcelChurch brought immediate growth.

He really believes that the local church is the hope of the world. As a result he is passionate about investing in other churches and believes in church planting. Emy has a passion to see the church of Jesus Christ reach everyone far from God.

A born encourager, Emy has a God-given ability to look past what is to see what could be. After all, that’s what he believes God did for him. One of his favorite sayings is: “People may throw people away, but God never throws anyone away!” His first book is going to be about how to score an amazing wife–or at least it should be (lol) because his wife Emily is incredible! Emily and Emy have spent half of their lives together. Keeping them in line are their three children; Ileana, Evan and Reya.
